Kenyan Political Trouble

In response to Kenya's presidential elections held on December 27, 2007, and the subsequent swearing in of incumbant candidate, Mwai Kibaki, on December 30, a rise in politically and ethnicaly driven violence has disrupted the lives of many Kenyans. Some of those most affected reside in the Central Province, home to both Mwai Kibaki and the Little Angels Centre. Please keep the Little Angels and the Kenyan people in your thoughts as we bring in the new year.

Little Angels Volunteer Chaplain, Fr. Marandu, was kind enough to e-mail an article from The Economist that attempts to explain the situation. The article can be found here.
